Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2017 Christies in London held the auction Important Russian Art, which included the work Four landscapes; Two views of a house; A study of horses; and A study of cows by Grand Duchess Olga. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,223.08). Admittedly, works by Grand Duchess Olga have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Self-portrait with easel; Four landscapes; and Floral study in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 64,058.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion Important Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Four landscapes; Two views of a house; A study of horses; and A study of cows von Grand Duchess Olga zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.223,08) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Grand Duchess Olga auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Self-portrait with easel; Four landscapes; and Floral study im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 64.058,26).
