Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2017 Christies in London held the auction Important Russian Art, which included the work Five landscapes; and Three views of a house by Grand Duchess Olga. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,642.02), 17% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Grand Duchess Olga have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Self-portrait with easel; Four landscapes; and Floral study in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 64,058.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion Important Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Five landscapes; and Three views of a house von Grand Duchess Olga zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.642,02) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Grand Duchess Olga auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Self-portrait with easel; Four landscapes; and Floral study im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 64.058,26).
