Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2017 Christies in London held the auction Important Russian Art, which included the work Five floral studies; Three studies of strawberries; and Guri Kulikovsky (1919-1984) as a young child by Grand Duchess Olga. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,804.15). Admittedly, works by Grand Duchess Olga have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Self-portrait with easel; Four landscapes; and Floral study in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 64,058.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion Important Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Five floral studies; Three studies of strawberries; and Guri Kulikovsky (1919-1984) as a young child von Grand Duchess Olga zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.804,15) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Grand Duchess Olga auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Self-portrait with easel; Four landscapes; and Floral study im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 64.058,26).
