Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of A Young Girl by Graham Ovenden was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2005. The price achieved of GBP 1,080.00 (€ 1,600.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Graham Ovenden achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Picnic in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 44,073.79).

Die Arbeit Portrait of A Young Girl von Graham Ovenden kam im Juni 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.080,00 (€ 1.600,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Graham Ovenden erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Picnic im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 44.073,79).
