Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 4,000.00 (€ 2,840.71). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Graham Knuttel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Sailor, which sold at auction in May 2007 for GBP 6,600.00 (€ 9,712.35).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 4.000,00 (€ 2.840,71) einen neuen Besitzer.
