Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Grace Pailthorpe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans titre in March this year with an auction result of EUR 21,675.00.

Die Arbeit Stag in Contemplation; Waterbabies von Grace Pailthorpe kam im Juli 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.953,88) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Grace Pailthorpe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans titre im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 21.675,00.
