Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cromer by Grace Pailthorpe was auctioned at Bonhams in London in September this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,024.00 (€ 1,024.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Grace Pailthorpe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans titre in March this year with an auction result of EUR 21,675.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cromer von Grace Pailthorpe kam im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.024,00 (€ 1.024,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Grace Pailthorpe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans titre im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 21.675,00.
