In the Western Art auction, the work Western Wildflowers (Hu-Hi-A and Chi-Koda) changed hands for USD 8,960.00 (€ 8,214.15) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Grace Carpenter Hudson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Watermelon 24 x 29 1/2 in. framed 31 x 37 in. in November last year with an auction result of USD 69,675.00 (€ 67,494.91).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Grace Carpenter Hudson konnte im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
