Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A Diplomat 14 x 14 in. framed 20 x 20 in. by Grace Carpenter Hudson was sold in the The Collection of G. Andrew Bjurman auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 31,875.00 (€ 30,877.65). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Grace Carpenter Hudson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Watermelon 24 x 29 1/2 in. framed 31 x 37 in., which sold at auction in November last year for USD 69,675.00 (€ 67,494.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A Diplomat 14 x 14 in. framed 20 x 20 in. von Grace Carpenter Hudson wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion The Collection of G. Andrew Bjurman bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 31.875,00 (€ 30.877,65) einen neuen Besitzer.
