Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Study for Portrait of Lord Byron (Lord Byron Table) by Goshka Macuga was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2017. The price achieved of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,687.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Goshka Macuga achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Madame Blavatsky in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 52,453.13).
