Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction The Collection of G. Andrew Bjurman, which included the work Walking the Line 11 x 36 in. framed 18 x 44 in. by Gordon Snidow. The price achieved of USD 5,737.50 (€ 5,557.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gordon Snidow have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The American Beauty in August 2021 with an auction result of USD 37,812.50 (€ 32,044.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion The Collection of G. Andrew Bjurman durch, in der auch die Arbeit Walking the Line 11 x 36 in. framed 18 x 44 in. von Gordon Snidow zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.737,50 (€ 5.557,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gordon Snidow auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The American Beauty im August 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.812,50 (€ 32.044,49).
