Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Come Rain or Come Shine, a Cowboy's Work is Never Done by Gordon Snidow was auctioned at Bonhams in April this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 5,100.00 (€ 4,619.57) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Gordon Snidow have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The American Beauty in August 2021 with an auction result of USD 37,812.50 (€ 32,044.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Come Rain or Come Shine, a Cowboy's Work is Never Done von Gordon Snidow kam im April diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 5.100,00 (€ 4.619,57) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gordon Snidow auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The American Beauty im August 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.812,50 (€ 32.044,49).
