Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction The Collection of G. Andrew Bjurman, which included the work Snow Flurries 16 x 20 in. framed 25 x 28 in. by Gordon Snidow. The »bidding war« ended at USD 6,120.00 (€ 5,928.51), 22% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Gordon Snidow have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The American Beauty in August 2021 with an auction result of USD 37,812.50 (€ 32,044.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion The Collection of G. Andrew Bjurman durch, in der auch die Arbeit Snow Flurries 16 x 20 in. framed 25 x 28 in. von Gordon Snidow zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 6.120,00 (€ 5.928,51) und damit 22% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gordon Snidow auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The American Beauty im August 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.812,50 (€ 32.044,49).
