Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2009 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Lluvia (La Mesa) by Gonzalo Ariza. It changed hands for a price of USD 13,750.00 (€ 9,733.82) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Gonzalo Ariza have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2012 the work Bogotá was auctioned for USD 22,500.00 (€ 18,197.99).

Im Mai 2009 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lluvia (La Mesa) von Gonzalo Ariza zur Versteigerung kam.
