Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Shambala in Modern Times by Gonkar Gyatso was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2015. The price achieved of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 29,334.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gonkar Gyatso have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Endless Knot in October 2012 with an auction result of GBP 169,250.00 (€ 210,432.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Shambala in Modern Times von Gonkar Gyatso kam im Mai 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 29.334,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gonkar Gyatso auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Endless Knot im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 169.250,00 (€ 210.432,69).
