Auction result well in line with expectations
The work White Bird by Go Yayanagi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2009. The price achieved of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 12,905.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 220,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Go Yayanagi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Ominous Moment before being Pounded in the Sand, which sold at auction in November 2009 for HKD 350,000.00 (€ 30,112.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit White Bird von Go Yayanagi kam im November 2009 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 12.905,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 220.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Go Yayanagi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Ominous Moment before being Pounded in the Sand beobachtet, die im November 2009 für HKD 350.000,00 (€ 30.112,04) versteigert wurde.
