Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2010 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Construction of Civilization by Go Yayanagi. The price achieved of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 15,583.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 200,000.00. Other works by Go Yayanagi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2009 the work The Ominous Moment before being Pounded in the Sand was auctioned for HKD 350,000.00 (€ 30,112.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2010 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Construction of Civilization von Go Yayanagi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 15.583,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Go Yayanagi konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2009 die Arbeit The Ominous Moment before being Pounded in the Sand für HKD 350.000,00 (€ 30.112,04) versteigert.
