Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Empire State Building by Glenn O. Coleman was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2009. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 25,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 31,250.00 (€ 23,565.34) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Glenn O. Coleman have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May this year the work The Dock was auctioned for USD 42,240.00 (€ 39,647.08).
