Auction result well in line with expectations
The work White Flower by Glendon Cordell was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in November this year. The price achieved of HKD 102,400.00 (€ 12,016.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Glendon Cordell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Five Trees Standing Watch in May this year with an auction result of HKD 537,400.00 (€ 64,413.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit White Flower von Glendon Cordell kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 102.400,00 (€ 12.016,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Glendon Cordell auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Five Trees Standing Watch im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 537.400,00 (€ 64.413,35).
