The work Some Waterfalls by Glendon Cordell was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in October this year. It achieved a price of HKD 190,500.00 (€ 23,037.38), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 27%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Glendon Cordell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Five Trees Standing Watch, which sold at auction in May this year for HKD 537,400.00 (€ 64,413.35).

Die Arbeit Some Waterfalls von Glendon Cordell kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 190.500,00 (€ 23.037,38) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 27%. Für andere Arbeiten von Glendon Cordell mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Five Trees Standing Watch beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für HKD 537.400,00 (€ 64.413,35) versteigert wurde.
