It achieved a price of GBP 4,182.50 (€ 6,320.68), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giuseppe Nogari - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of A Bearded Man, Head And Shoulders, Wearing Oriental Dress, which sold at auction in July 2012 for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 19,105.97).
