Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work A Tronie Of An Elderly Lady Holding A Bowl by Giuseppe Nogari was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2008, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,868.43). Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Nogari have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of A Bearded Man, Head And Shoulders, Wearing Oriental Dress in July 2012 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 19,105.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit A Tronie Of An Elderly Lady Holding A Bowl von Giuseppe Nogari im April 2008 bei Sothebys in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.868,43) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giuseppe Nogari auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of A Bearded Man, Head And Shoulders, Wearing Oriental Dress im Juli 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 19.105,97).
