Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
When the work The Presentation in the Temple by Giuseppe Nicola Nasini was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2010, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - GBP 1,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than three times as high at GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,769.99). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giuseppe Nicola Nasini - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Christ And The Woman Of Samaria, which sold at auction in December 2011 for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,730.84).

Als die Arbeit The Presentation in the Temple von Giuseppe Nicola Nasini im Dezember 2010 bei Christies in London versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der obere Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – GBP 1.000,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.769,99) mehr als dreimal so hoch. Für andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Nicola Nasini mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Christ And The Woman Of Samaria beobachtet, die im Dezember 2011 für GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.730,84) versteigert wurde.
