Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A picnic on the Neapolitan coast by Giuseppe Laezza was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2002. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,172.50 (€ 5,186.20) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giuseppe Laezza - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fisherfolk At The Bay of Naples, which sold at auction in March 2006 for GBP 10,200.00 (€ 14,614.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A picnic on the Neapolitan coast von Giuseppe Laezza kam im März 2002 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.172,50 (€ 5.186,20) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Laezza mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fisherfolk At The Bay of Naples beobachtet, die im März 2006 für GBP 10.200,00 (€ 14.614,76) versteigert wurde.
