Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Giuseppe De Nittis could be acquired at Il Ponte in May 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures auction, the work Nubi sul mare changed hands for EUR 7,000.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 10,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe De Nittis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italian l'Arc De Triomphe, Paris in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 548,750.00 (€ 624,923.87).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Giuseppe De Nittis konnte im Mai 2017 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures wechselte die Arbeit Nubi sul mare für EUR 7.000,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe De Nittis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italian l'Arc De Triomphe, Paris im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 548.750,00 (€ 624.923,87).
