Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Giuseppe De Nittis could be acquired at Christies in London in July 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century European & Orientalist Art auction, the work Le Regate sulla Senna changed hands for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,030.50) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe De Nittis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italian l'Arc De Triomphe, Paris in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 548,750.00 (€ 624,923.87).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Giuseppe De Nittis konnte im Juli 2018 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th Century European & Orientalist Art wechselte die Arbeit Le Regate sulla Senna für GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.030,50) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe De Nittis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italian l'Arc De Triomphe, Paris im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 548.750,00 (€ 624.923,87).
