Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2007 Christies in London held the auction Nineteenth Century European Art Including Russian Pictures, which included the work Palazzo Donn'Anna, Naples by Giuseppe Carelli. The price achieved of GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,119.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Carelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vedute Della Costiera Amalfitana in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 15,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Nineteenth Century European Art Including Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Palazzo Donn'Anna, Naples von Giuseppe Carelli zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.440,00 (€ 2.119,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giuseppe Carelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vedute Della Costiera Amalfitana im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 15.000,00.
