Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2005 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures, which included the work Fishermen In The Bay of Naples; And Bringing In The Catch, Capri by Giuseppe Carelli. The price achieved of GBP 5,760.00 (€ 8,536.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by Giuseppe Carelli have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2008 the work Vedute Della Costiera Amalfitana was auctioned for EUR 15,000.00.
