Auction result well in line with expectations
The work - Paesaggio montano - Paesaggio montano con pastorella lungo la via by Giuseppe Buscaglione was auctioned at Christies in Rome in May 2002. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,612.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giuseppe Buscaglione - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Barcaiolo sul fiume, which sold at auction in December 2001 for ITL 3,920,000.00 (€ 3,523.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit - Paesaggio montano - Paesaggio montano con pastorella lungo la via von Giuseppe Buscaglione kam im Mai 2002 bei Christies in Rom zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.612,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Buscaglione mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Barcaiolo sul fiume beobachtet, die im Dezember 2001 für ITL 3.920.000,00 (€ 3.523,20) versteigert wurde.
