Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Dopo la pioggia by Giuseppe Buscaglione for EUR 400.00. This price was achieved in the auction 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 450.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Buscaglione have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Barcaiolo sul fiume in December 2001 with an auction result of ITL 3,920,000.00 (€ 3,523.20).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Dopo la pioggia von Giuseppe Buscaglione für EUR 400,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 450,00 – 500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giuseppe Buscaglione auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Barcaiolo sul fiume im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 3.920.000,00 (€ 3.523,20).
