The work Astratto by Giulio Turcato was auctioned at Christies in Milan in December last year. It achieved a price of EUR 8,190.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 64 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giulio Turcato achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grande Reticolo in November 2006 with an auction result of EUR 251,175.00.

Die Arbeit Astratto von Giulio Turcato kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 8.190,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 64 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giulio Turcato erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grande Reticolo im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 251.175,00.
