This artwork by Giulio Turcato achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in June this year. In the Centuries of Beauty - A Refined Private Collection auction, the work Natura morta sold for EUR 13,860.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giulio Turcato achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grande Reticolo in November 2006 with an auction result of EUR 251,175.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Giulio Turcato erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Centuries of Beauty - A Refined Private Collection wurde die Arbeit Natura morta für EUR 13.860,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giulio Turcato erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grande Reticolo im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 251.175,00.
