In the Old Master And 19th Century Drawings auction, the work Saint Cecilia and a male nude (recto), Studies of male nudes (verso) sold for USD 17,500.00 (€ 11,791.66) - well above the upper estimate of USD 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giulio Cesare Procaccini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Judith with the Head of Holofernes in January 2024 with an auction result of USD 1,134,000.00 (€ 991,085.47).
