Horvitz Collection of Italian Drawings auction, the work Recto: Judith And Her Maid; Verso: A Sketch Of A Head Of A Bearded Man In Profile sold for USD 91,000.00 (€ 61,316.62) - well above the upper estimate of USD 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giulio Cesare Procaccini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Judith with the Head of Holofernes in January 2024 with an auction result of USD 1,134,000.00 (€ 991,085.47).
