Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 1,080.00 (€ 1,603.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Girolamo Pieri Ballati Nerli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Port Philip Foreshore in May 2005 with an auction result of AUD 86,040.00 (€ 52,889.27).
