In March 2005 Christies in Melbourne held the auction THE BLEASEL COLLECTION OF AUSTRALIAN PAINTINGS, which included the work Beach Scene, Children Paddling by Girolamo Pieri Ballati Nerli. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 35,850.00 (€ 21,948.42), 43% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Girolamo Pieri Ballati Nerli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Port Philip Foreshore, which sold at auction in May 2005 for AUD 86,040.00 (€ 52,889.27).

Im März 2005 führte Christies in Melbourne die Auktion THE BLEASEL COLLECTION OF AUSTRALIAN PAINTINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Beach Scene, Children Paddling von Girolamo Pieri Ballati Nerli zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von AUD 35.850,00 (€ 21.948,42) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Girolamo Pieri Ballati Nerli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Port Philip Foreshore beobachtet, die im Mai 2005 für AUD 86.040,00 (€ 52.889,27) versteigert wurde.
