A top price for Girolamo da Santacroce
In December 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master Paintings Day Sale, which included the work The Nativity by Girolamo da Santacroce. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 66,050.00 (€ 69,371.72). With this result, The Nativity is even the most expensive work of art by Girolamo da Santacroce that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Dezember 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Nativity von Girolamo da Santacroce zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 66.050,00 (€ 69.371,72) einen neuen Besitzer.
