Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Autoritratto by Girolamo Ciulla for EUR 1,700.00. This price was achieved in the auction Art, Collections, Wonderful Passions | The Giorgio Soavi Collection at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,800.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Girolamo Ciulla have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2010 by the work Donna con tre coccodrilli sulla testa at EUR 2,600.00.

Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Art, Collections, Wonderful Passions | The Giorgio Soavi Collection bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.800,00 – 2.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Girolamo Ciulla wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Oktober 2010 die Arbeit Donna con tre coccodrilli sulla testa mit EUR 2.600,00.
