The result of CHF 15,000.00 (€ 13,316.17) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of CHF 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Segantini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le due madri, 1891 in March 2011 with an auction result of CHF 1,440,000.00 (€ 1,108,707.61).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von CHF 15.000,00 (€ 13.316,17) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von CHF 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Segantini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le due madri, 1891 im März 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 1.440.000,00 (€ 1.108.707,61).
