Admittedly, works by Giovanni Jean Schranz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hms Leander At Anchor In Dockyard Creek, Valetta Harbour, A Man-Of-War Being Fitted Out Beyond in December 2008 with an auction result of GBP 75,650.00 (€ 79,454.51).
