Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Two Plates from: The Flight into Egypt by Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo was auctioned at Christies in New York in January this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,276.00 (€ 3,017.13). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Tiepolo Family in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 2,837,000.00 (€ 4,021,913.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Two Plates from: The Flight into Egypt von Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo kam im Januar diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.276,00 (€ 3.017,13) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Tiepolo Family im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.837.000,00 (€ 4.021.913,13).
