The »bidding war« ended at GBP 126,000.00 (€ 147,003.81), 26% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Tiepolo Family in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 2,837,000.00 (€ 4,021,913.13).

Die Arbeit Punchinello and his family in a farmyard, spinning flax von Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 126.000,00 (€ 147.003,81) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo erzielen.
