In the Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours auction, the work A group of Punchinellos examining a spider crab sold for GBP 441,000.00 (€ 514,513.34) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Tiepolo Family in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 2,837,000.00 (€ 4,021,913.13).

In der Auktion Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours wurde die Arbeit A group of Punchinellos examining a spider crab für GBP 441.000,00 (€ 514.513,34) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 250.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Tiepolo Family im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.837.000,00 (€ 4.021.913,13).
