Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rinaldo and Armida by Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo was sold in the Old Master & British Drawings auction at Christies in New York in January this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 13,860.00 (€ 12,764.78) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Tiepolo Family in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 2,837,000.00 (€ 4,021,913.13).

Die Arbeit Rinaldo and Armida von Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo wurde im Januar diesen Jahres in der Auktion Old Master & British Drawings bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 13.860,00 (€ 12.764,78) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00.
