A top price for Giovanni Colacicchi - as previously expected
In May 2002 Christies in Milan held the auction ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA, which included the work Amazzoni ferite by Giovanni Colacicchi. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 4,464.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Amazzoni ferite is the most expensive artwork by Giovanni Colacicchi that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Mai 2002 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA durch, in der auch die Arbeit Amazzoni ferite von Giovanni Colacicchi zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 4.464,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Amazzoni ferite das teuerste Kunstwerk von Giovanni Colacicchi, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
