Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Al limite del bosco by Giovanni Colacicchi was auctioned at Il Ponte in November 2016, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giovanni Colacicchi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Amazzoni ferite in May 2002 with an auction result of EUR 4,464.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Al limite del bosco von Giovanni Colacicchi im November 2016 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.000,00 den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giovanni Colacicchi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Amazzoni ferite im Mai 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.464,00.
