Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2020 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Tableaux Dessins Sculptures 1300-1900, which included the work WOMAN FIXING HER HAIR by Giovanni Boldini. The price achieved of EUR 15,120.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Boldini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italian portrait Of Giovinetta Errazuriz in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 6,578,500.00 (€ 5,046,409.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Tableaux Dessins Sculptures 1300-1900 durch, in der auch die Arbeit WOMAN FIXING HER HAIR von Giovanni Boldini zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 15.120,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Boldini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italian portrait Of Giovinetta Errazuriz im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.578.500,00 (€ 5.046.409,94).
