Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Old Master & British Drawings, which included the work A satyr, a woman and a winged putto by Giovanni Biliverti. The price achieved of USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,093.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Biliverti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Venus, Cupid And Pan in January 2018 with an auction result of USD 879,000.00 (€ 707,273.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Old Master & British Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A satyr, a woman and a winged putto von Giovanni Biliverti zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.093,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Biliverti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Venus, Cupid And Pan im Januar 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 879.000,00 (€ 707.273,90).
