It achieved a price of USD 15,600.00 (€ 11,954.94), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Battista Franco achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Deux Études De Squelettes in March 2021 with an auction result of EUR 250,000.00.

Die Arbeit Three figures in discussion von Giovanni Battista Franco wurde im Januar 2005 in der Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Drawings bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 15.600,00 (€ 11.954,94) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Battista Franco erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Deux Études De Squelettes im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 250.000,00.
