Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,568.28). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giovanni Battista della Rovere - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Christ In Glory, Adored By The Virgin, St. Francis, A Saint And Angels, which sold at auction in January 2013 for USD 11,250.00 (€ 8,281.80).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.568,28) einen neuen Besitzer.
